Getting There

  • Walking

    From the city center of Arnhem, head towards the Arnhem Central Station (Arnhem Centraal). Once at the station, exit the building and head to the bus station located right in front of the train station. There, catch bus line 10 towards Nijmegen. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Nijmegen, Stationsplein' stop. After exiting the bus, walk towards the main square which is directly ahead. Continue straight, and you will see the Waag on your left after about a 5-minute walk.

    From Arnhem Central Station, purchase a ticket to Nijmegen. Trains to Nijmegen depart regularly, and the journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Nijmegen Station, exit the station and walk towards the main square (Stationsplein). Continue walking straight, and after about a 5-minute walk, you will arrive at the Waag on your left side.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops near Arnhem Central Station. Once you have a bike, head towards the bike path that leads to Nijmegen. Follow the signs for the cycling route to Nijmegen, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. When you arrive in Nijmegen, follow the signs directing you to the city center. The Waag will be located in the central area, and you will reach it after about a 5-minute walk from where you park your bike.
