To reach Fort aan den Ham by car, start your journey in Kennemerland and head towards the A9 motorway. If you're coming from Haarlem, take the A200 towards the A9. Merge onto A9 and continue for approximately 15 kilometers. Take exit 18 towards Uitgeest and follow the signs for N203. Continue on N203 for about 5 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Busch en Dam. Fort aan den Ham will be located on your right at Busch en Dam 13, 1911 MS Uitgeest. Parking is available near the fort.

The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Uitgeest station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located outside. Take bus line 165 towards Castricum and get off at the stop 'Busch en Dam.' From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Fort aan den Ham located at Busch en Dam 13, 1911 MS Uitgeest.
