From the Leiden Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Stationsweg. Turn right and walk straight until you reach the first traffic lights. Cross the street and continue straight onto the Breestraat. Follow Breestraat as it curves slightly to the left and becomes the Nieuwe Rijn. Continue walking along the Nieuwe Rijn until you reach the intersection with the Haarlemmerstraat. Turn right onto Haarlemmerstraat and continue until you reach the market square. From here, locate the bus station (Busstation) and take bus number 43 towards Utrecht. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Agnietenstraat, Utrecht'. Walk a short distance to reach the Centraal Museum, located at Agnietenstraat 1.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike at one of the many bike rental shops near Leiden Central Station. Once you have your bike, exit the station and head east on Stationsweg. Turn right onto Breestraat and continue straight. After about 10 minutes, you will see signs for the bike path leading to Utrecht. Follow the signs to Utrecht, which will take you along scenic routes. Once you arrive in Utrecht, follow the signs to the city center. When you reach the Agnietenstraat, park your bike and walk to the Centraal Museum located at Agnietenstraat 1.
Public Transport
From Leiden Central Station, purchase a ticket for a train to Utrecht Central Station. The trains run frequently, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Utrecht Central Station, follow the signs to the bus terminal. Take bus number 43 towards Utrecht, and after about 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Agnietenstraat, Utrecht'. From there, it is a short walk to the Centraal Museum at Agnietenstraat 1.
