From the center of Leiden, head towards the main train station (Leiden Centraal). Exit the station and walk straight along Stationsweg. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Korte Mare. Turn left onto Korte Mare and follow it until you reach the bridge over the canal. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Garenmarkt. Keep walking until you reach the crossroads with Hooigracht and turn right. Continue straight and you will reach the city center. From there, you can take a train to Haarlem. The train ride should take around 15 minutes.

From Leiden Centraal, purchase a ticket to Haarlem. Trains run frequently, so check the departure board for the next train. Board the train and enjoy the scenic ride; it takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Haarlem station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Follow the signs or use a map to guide you to Kenaupark, which is located near the center of Haarlem.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Leiden. Start by heading towards the N206 road, which leads to Haarlem. Follow the cycle paths which are well-marked. The distance is about 15 km and will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once you arrive in Haarlem, look for signs directing you to Kenaupark, as it is a well-known park in the city.
