From Leiden Central Station, take the train in the direction of The Hague. This journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Upon arriving at The Hague Central Station, exit the station and follow the signs for Tram 6. Board Tram 6 towards 'Madurodam' and get off at the 'Laan van NOI' stop. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to the Louwman Museum. Head south on the Laan van NOI, then turn right onto the Leidsestraatweg. Continue straight until you reach Leidsestraatweg 57, where the museum is located.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Leiden. Head towards the Breestraat and follow the signs for the bike path leading to The Hague. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach The Hague, continue on the bike paths towards Leidsestraatweg. Follow the road signs to Leidsestraatweg 57, where the Louwman Museum is located.
Walking
If you enjoy walking and are up for a longer trek, you can walk from the center of Leiden to The Hague, which takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Start at the Breestraat, head south towards the Haarlemmerstraat, and follow the signs leading to The Hague. Use the bike paths along the roads for safety. Once you reach The Hague, make your way to Leidsestraatweg, and continue until you reach Leidsestraatweg 57, where the museum is located.
