Walking
If you are in the center of Leiden, head towards the main train station (Leiden Centraal). From there, take the train to Utrecht Centraal, which usually takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Utrecht Centraal, exit the station and follow the signs for the city center. Walk down the Vredenburg, a large square. Continue straight on Vredenburg until you reach the intersection with the Oudegracht. Turn left onto Oudegracht and walk along the canal. After about 10 minutes, turn right onto Kromme Nieuwegracht. Paushuize will be on your left at number 49.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Leiden. From the center, head towards the Breestraat and follow the signs to the Rijn. Cycle along the Rijn until you reach the bike path that leads you to Utrecht. The ride will take about an hour. Once in Utrecht, head towards the city center, and follow the same directions as for walking from Utrecht Centraal: go to Vredenburg, turn left onto Oudegracht, and then right onto Kromme Nieuwegracht to reach Paushuize.
Bus
From Leiden, take bus line 50 from the Leiden Centraal station towards Utrecht. This bus will take you directly to the city center of Utrecht. Once you arrive at the final stop in Utrecht, walk towards Vredenburg square. From there, follow the same directions: walk straight to Oudegracht, turn left, and then right onto Kromme Nieuwegracht to find Paushuize at number 49.
