    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Leiden, head to the Leiden Centraal train station. Once at the station, take a train towards Amsterdam. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head towards the front of the station, where you will see the large square. From there, walk straight towards the water and take a left onto the Damrak street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the Rokin street. Turn right on Rokin, and keep heading straight until you reach the Muntplein. From Muntplein, continue on the Amstel river path until you reach Plantage. This area is known for its beautiful architecture and green spaces.

    Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Leiden, typically located near the train station or city center. Once you have your bike, head to the bike path leading to the city of Amsterdam. The most common route follows the N206 road. It is about a 40-minute ride. As you approach Amsterdam, follow the signs for the city center. Upon entering Amsterdam, look for signs directing you towards Plantage. You can park your bike at one of the bike racks available near the area.

    Bus

    From Leiden, take bus line 57 from the bus station near the city center. The bus will take you directly to Amsterdam in about 45 minutes. Get off at the last stop, which is Amsterdam Zuidas. From there, transfer to tram 5 towards Amsterdam Central Station. After several stops, get off at the Plantage area. The tram stop is conveniently located near the Plantage park, and you can explore the beautiful surroundings from there.
