    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Leiden Central Station, exit and head towards the main road called Stationsweg. Turn left onto Stationsweg and continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the Breestraat. Turn right onto Breestraat. Continue walking until you reach the Botermarkt square. From there, you will see the Haarlemmerstraat; take a left onto Haarlemmerstraat. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Spaarne. Turn right onto Spaarne. Teylers Museum will be on your left at Spaarne 16.

    Public Transport

    From Leiden Central Station, take the train towards Haarlem. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Haarlem Station, exit the station and walk straight ahead to the first major intersection. Turn left onto the large road, which is called Stationsplein. Continue straight until you reach the Spaarne river. Turn right along the riverbank and walk until you see Spaarne 16. Teylers Museum is located here on your left.

    If you have access to a bicycle, starting from the center of Leiden, head towards the Vliet canal and follow the bike paths in the direction of Haarlem. You will pass through beautiful countryside and small towns along the way. Once you reach Haarlem, follow signs for the city center. Continue towards Spaarne, and Teylers Museum will be located at Spaarne 16 on your left.
