Walking
From the center of Leiden, walk towards the Central Station (Centraal Station). Once you reach the station, catch a train towards Amsterdam. Get off at Aalsmeer station. Exit the station and walk towards the main road (Zijdstraat). Continue straight on Zijdstraat until you reach Zijdstraat 28, where 'The Lion' is located.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Leiden. Head out of the city towards the north-west, following the signs for Aalsmeer. The route is approximately 12 km and will take you through scenic landscapes. Once you arrive in Aalsmeer, navigate to Zijdstraat, and look for Zijdstraat 28. 'The Lion' will be on your left.
Bus
From the Leiden Central Station, take bus line 45 towards Aalsmeer. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Zijdstraat' bus stop. From there, walk along Zijdstraat until you reach number 28, where 'The Lion' is located. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the return trip.
