Make your way to Leiden Central Station. Buy a ticket to Utrecht Central Station. The train ride takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Utrecht Central, follow the signs to the 'Utrecht Maliebaan' train station, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head east on Maliebaan towards Maliebaanstation 16, where the Railway Museum is located.

If you're comfortable cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Leiden. Head towards the N206 road and follow it in the direction of Utrecht. This route is approximately 20 km and will take around 1 hour. Upon reaching Utrecht, follow the signs to Maliebaanstation 16 for The Railway Museum.
