Start at Leiden Central Station. Exit the station and head southwest on Stationsweg. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Haarlemmerstraat, then turn left. Follow Haarlemmerstraat until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Breestraat. Stay on Breestraat as it becomes Kloksteeg. Continue straight until you reach the large square, called the Beestenmarkt. From there, head towards the main street, Lange Mare, and turn right. Follow Lange Mare until it merges into the smaller street, Nieuwe Mare. Keep straight until you reach the intersection with the Lammenschansweg. Transfer to bus line 43 towards Amsterdam. Disembark at the 'Amsterdam, Wertheimpark' stop. From there, the Memorial to Auschwitz Victims is just a short walk away in Wertheimpark.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many bike rental shops in the city. Start your ride at the old market square, and head north on the Breestraat. Follow the signs to the bike paths leading to the east of the city. Continue on the path until you reach the N206 road. Turn left and head towards Amsterdam. After approximately 15 km, you will reach the vicinity of Amsterdam. Use your GPS or follow local signs to find Wertheimpark, where the Memorial to Auschwitz Victims is located.

From Leiden Central Station, take the train towards Amsterdam Central Station. The train ride takes about 35-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Take bus line 22 towards 'Zeedijk' and disembark at the 'Wertheimpark' stop. The Memorial to Auschwitz Victims is located in Wertheimpark, just a short walk from the bus stop.
