Start at the Leiden Central Station (Leiden Centraal). Exit the station and head east towards Stationsplein. Continue straight onto the Beestenmarkt, then take a left onto the Lange Mare. Follow this road as it curves to the right and becomes the Nieuwe Rijn. Continue along the Nieuwe Rijn until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight. You will eventually reach the center of Leiden. Follow the signs to the University and then to the historic city center. Look for signs directing you to the Staalmeestersbrug.

Continue until you reach the Vrouwjuttenland. Keep cycling straight until you reach the city border. Follow the path to Amsterdam, and after about 30 minutes, you will arrive at the Staalmeestersbrug.
