The Trinitatis Chapel: A Jewel of Dordrecht's Heritage

Getting There

• Walking

  From the central train station in Leiden, head west toward the main street, Stationsweg. Once you reach Stationsweg, turn left and continue walking until you reach the large intersection with the Breestraat. Here, turn right onto Breestraat and walk straight until you reach the next major intersection with the Haarlemmerstraat. Turn left onto Haarlemmerstraat and continue straight until you see the signs for the bus station. From the bus station, take bus number 90 heading towards Dordrecht. The bus ride will take approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the Dordrecht stop. Once you arrive in Dordrecht, walk towards Vriesestraat, which is a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. The Trinitatis Chapel will be located at Vriesestraat 22.

• Bicycle

  If you are comfortable riding a bicycle, you can rent one from a local shop in Leiden. Start by heading south from the center toward the bicycle paths along the Rijn River. Cycle down the Rijn until you reach the junction with the N11. Follow the signs for Dordrecht, which will lead you onto the N11 bike path. This route is approximately 12 km and takes around 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Dordrecht, use local bike paths to navigate towards the city center and then to Vriesestraat 22, where the Trinitatis Chapel is located.

• Train

  From Leiden Central Station, take a train heading towards Dordrecht. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Dordrecht's train station, exit and follow the signs to the bus station. From there, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take bus number 90 to the city center. If walking, head towards the main road and navigate towards Vriesestraat. The Trinitatis Chapel is located at Vriesestraat 22.
