Walking
If you are starting from the Maastricht train station, exit the station and head southeast on Spoorweglaan. Continue straight onto Stationsstraat, then turn right onto Muntstraat. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Vrijthof and take a left. Walk a few blocks until you reach the intersection with Sint Bernardusstraat. Turn right and continue straight until you reach the Maas river. Follow the riverbank heading east until you see the Hoge brug ahead.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the main square at Vrijthof, walk to the bus stop 'Maastricht, Vrijthof'. Take bus line 4 towards 'Meerssen' and get off at the stop 'Maastricht, Jekerkwartier'. From there, walk east on Jekerstraat until you reach the Maas river, then follow the riverbank heading east until you see the Hoge brug.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the many bike rental shops in the city. Start from the city center and head south towards the Maas river. You can follow the bike paths along the river, which will lead you directly to the Hoge brug. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on your pace.
