From Maastricht, head to the central bus station, which is located near the railway station (Maastricht Centraal). Look for bus line 50, heading towards Aachen. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to get off at the stop 'Theaterplatz' in Aachen. The Theater Aachen is just a short walk from the bus stop.
Train
Start at Maastricht Centraal Station and take a train towards Aachen. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 20-25 minutes. Once you arrive at Aachen Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and walk towards Theaterplatz. The theater is about a 15-minute walk from the train station; simply head northeast on the Jülicher Str. and follow the signs to Theaterplatz.

The route is approximately 10 km and will take about 30-40 minutes. Upon arriving in Aachen, follow the signs to the city center, and you will reach Theaterplatz where the theater is located.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can start your journey from Maastricht city center. Head towards the Meuse River and follow the walking path that leads to the border with Germany. It’s about a 10 km walk to Aachen, which will take around 2 hours. Once you enter Aachen, make your way to Theaterplatz where the Theater Aachen is located.
