Public Transport

From Nijmegen Central Station, take bus line 1 towards 'Lent, Heuvelweg'. The bus departs frequently, so you won't have to wait long. Get off at the 'Lent, Heuvelweg' stop. This journey takes about 15 minutes.

Walking

After you get off the bus at 'Lent, Heuvelweg', walk towards the Waaldijk road. Turn left on Waaldijk and continue walking straight. Fort Boven-Lent is located at Waaldijk 26, Bemmel. It is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop, following the river.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental stations near Nijmegen Central Station. Follow the bike path along the river Waal, which will lead you to Bemmel. The ride should take approximately 30 minutes. Keep an eye on the signs leading to 'Bemmel' and 'Waaldijk'.

Combination of Public Transport and Walking

Take the train from Nijmegen to Bemmel station. Once you arrive at Bemmel, exit the station and walk towards Waaldijk. You will find Fort Boven-Lent at Waaldijk 26. The total journey, including train and walk, will take about 40 minutes.
