If you are in the city center of Nijmegen, start at the Grote Markt (Main Market Square). From there, head east towards the Sint Stevenskerk (St. Stephen's Church). Continue straight onto the Waalkade, which runs alongside the river Waal. Follow the pathway along the river, enjoying the views of the water and surrounding areas. After walking for about 15 minutes, you will approach the Waalbrug, which will be directly in front of you. The bridge is easily recognizable and offers great photo opportunities.

From the central bus station (Centraal Station) in Nijmegen, take bus line 8 towards 'Nijmegen-Oost'. Get off at the 'Waalbrug' stop. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes. Once you disembark, you will see the Waalbrug nearby. Walk towards it, crossing the street, and you will arrive at the bridge in just a couple of minutes.
