If you are starting from the central train station (Nijmegen Centraal), exit the station and head south towards the main square. Walk straight along the Van Schaeck Mathonsingel, which will turn into the Molenweg. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Waalkade. Turn left onto Waalkade, and you will see the beautiful riverside promenade.
Public Transport
From any location in Nijmegen, you can take a bus to the city center. Buses 1, 2, 3, 4, and others frequently run to the central bus station, which is a short walk from Waalkade. Once you arrive at the central bus station, exit and walk towards the main square. Follow the same directions as provided in the walking section to reach Waalkade.

If you prefer biking, you can find bike rental stations throughout Nijmegen. From the city center, head toward the Molenweg, then follow the same path as mentioned in the walking directions. Biking along the riverside is a pleasant experience, and you’ll enjoy the views of the Waal River.
