Car
If you are driving, head south on the N50 from the center of Noordoostpolder. Follow the signs for Emmeloord and take the exit onto the N351 towards Schokland. Continue on N351 for approximately 15 kilometers. You will see signs for 'Unesco werelderfgoed Schokland' as you approach the area. The address is 8319 AC Schokland. There is parking available near the visitor center.

To reach Schokland by public transport, take bus line 75 from Emmeloord station. The bus will take you towards Schokland and will drop you off at the nearest stop. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited on weekends. After getting off the bus, follow the signs to 'Unesco werelderfgoed Schokland' which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. The walk will lead you through beautiful landscapes, so enjoy the scenery!

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in the Noordoostpolder area. Take the cycling paths from Emmeloord towards Schokland, which is approximately a 12 km ride. If you are close to Schokland and enjoy walking, you can hike from the nearby villages. From Ens, it is about a 5 km walk to Schokland.
