Car
If you're driving, start from the main town of Den Burg. Head south on the N501, then turn right at the roundabout onto the N500. Follow the N500 for about 5 minutes until you reach a sign for De Hoge Berg. Turn left onto the road leading to the hiking area. There is parking available at De Hoge Berg, but please note that parking may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
To reach De Hoge Berg by public transport, take bus line 29 from the main bus station in Den Burg. The bus runs approximately every 30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the stop for De Hoge Berg. The bus fare is around €2.50. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the hiking area.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Den Burg. From the center of Den Burg, head south, following the bike paths that run alongside the N501. After about 15-20 minutes of cycling, you will see signs directing you to De Hoge Berg. It's a beautiful ride with scenic views, and bicycles are welcome at the hiking area.
Walking
For those feeling adventurous, you can walk to De Hoge Berg from Den Burg. Start at the town center and follow the signs toward the southern edge of the town, taking the pedestrian paths that lead to the N500. This walk is approximately 3 kilometers and will take about 40 minutes. Enjoy the scenery along the way!
