Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the main town of Texel, Den Burg. Head west on the N501 road, following signs towards 'De Hors'. Continue on this road for approximately 7 kilometers. You will see signs for 'De Hors' and 'Oudeschild' as you approach the area. Once you reach the parking area near De Hors, you'll find ample parking available. Please note that parking may incur a fee, so be prepared with coins or a credit card.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take Bus Line 28 from Den Burg or Oudeschild, which operates regularly. Get off at the 'De Hors' stop. From the bus stop, it is a short walk (about 500 meters) towards the beach area. Follow the signs leading to the beach. Please check the current bus schedule as it may vary based on the season.
Bicycles
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Den Burg. There are designated bike paths leading from Den Burg to De Hors. The route is approximately 7 kilometers long and is very scenic. Follow the signs for 'De Hors' once you are on the bike paths. There are bike racks available at the beach for securing your bike while you enjoy the area.
