The museum is just a few minutes' walk from the square.

For those who prefer to take public transport, you can catch a tram to get closer to Mauritshuis. Find the nearest tram stop in Centrum, such as 'Den Haag, Plein' or 'Den Haag, Buitenhof'. From there, take tram line 1 or 17 towards 'Delft' or 'Scheveningen'. Get off at the 'Plein' stop. Once you alight, you will see Mauritshuis directly in front of you at Plein 29. Note that tram tickets cost approximately €3.50 and can be purchased at ticket machines at the tram stop.
