If you are starting from The Hague Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Stationsweg). Turn left onto the road and continue walking until you reach the intersection with the Hofweg. Turn right onto Hofweg and continue straight. You will pass several shops and cafes. Continue until you reach the end of Hofweg, where it merges into the Kneuterdijk. Take a left onto Kneuterdijk, and shortly after, turn right onto the Lange Voorhout. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with the Noordeinde. Here, turn left onto Noordeinde and continue until you reach the crossing with the Javastraat. Turn right onto Javastraat and continue until you see the signs for Scheveningen. Follow the signs towards Scheveningen, which will take you to the beach area. Keep walking along the promenade until you reach the intersection with the 2e Haven. Continue along the promenade, and you will see the Monument Troelstra located in the Scheveningen area, specifically at 2587 BK The Hague, near the beach.
Public Transport - Tram
From The Hague Central Station, take tram line 1 towards Scheveningen. Board the tram and enjoy the ride, which will take approximately 20 minutes. Stay on the tram until you reach the 'Scheveningen, Kurhaus' stop. After getting off, head towards the beach. You will see the Monument Troelstra to your left as you approach the sand, at the address 2587 BK The Hague.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from various rental shops around The Hague. Start at the central area and head towards the Malieveld. From there, follow the cycle path towards Scheveningen. The route is well marked, and you’ll pass through the beautiful parks along the way. Once you reach the coastline, continue cycling along the promenade until you spot the Monument Troelstra, located at 2587 BK The Hague, near the beach.
