Walking
If you are in the central area of Scheveningen, start by heading towards the beach. Walk down the main street, Gevers Deynootweg, and keep walking until you reach the beach promenade. Once you reach the beach, turn left and walk along the promenade. The Memorial of King William I, known as Gedenknaald, is located at Zeekant, right at the edge of the beach, where the promenade meets the water. It is a short walk from the main attractions in Scheveningen, taking approximately 10-15 minutes.

Public Transport
If you are further away or prefer public transport, you can take tram line 1 from the Scheveningen Kurhaus stop. Board the tram heading towards Den Haag Centraal. Get off at the stop called 'Zwarte Pad'. From there, it is a 5-minute walk to the memorial. Head towards the beach, then take a left to walk along the promenade until you reach Zeekant, where the memorial is located. Note that a tram ticket costs approximately €3.50 for a single journey.
