Getting There

  • Public Transport - Train

    From Utrecht Central Station, take the train towards 'Houten Castellum' or 'Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn'. Get off at 'Vleuten' station. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Vleuten station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Zandweg). Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Kasteellaan. Turn left onto Kasteellaan, and you will find Castle De Haar on your right after a short walk.

    From Utrecht Central Station, take bus line 120 (direction 'Vleuten'). Get off at the 'Kasteellaan' stop. The bus ride takes about 25 minutes. After getting off, you will be directly at Kasteellaan. Walk straight ahead for about 5 minutes, and you will see Castle De Haar ahead.

    If you're comfortable biking, rent a bike from one of the bike rental stations in Utrecht. Head southwest from the city center towards the 'Utrecht Science Park'. Follow the cycling paths towards 'Vleuten', which will lead you to Kasteellaan. The bike ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you reach Kasteellaan, follow the road until you see Castle De Haar on your right.

    If you're up for a long walk, from Utrecht Central Station, head southwest towards the 'Utrecht Science Park'. Continue through 'Vleuten' and follow the signs to Kasteellaan.
