From Utrecht Central Station, take the Intercity train towards Amsterdam Central Station. Get off at the station called 'Purmerend'. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Purmerend, exit the train station and look for bus stops nearby.

At the Purmerend train station, board bus line 114 towards 'Volendam'. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to get off at the stop 'Slobbeland' which is directly outside the Palingsound Museum.

After getting off at the 'Slobbeland' bus stop, walk a short distance to Slobbeland 19. The museum is just a few steps away and you will see the entrance clearly marked.
