From Utrecht Central Station, take the train to Amsterdam Amstel station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Amstel, transfer to the Metro Line 51 (towards Zuid). After 3 stops, get off at the Duivendrecht station. From there, walk straight towards the Linnaeusstraat, which is about a 10-minute walk. The Wereldmuseum Amsterdam will be on your left at Linnaeusstraat 2.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Utrecht Central Station. Cycle towards the Amsterdam route, following the signs for the F261. The total distance is approximately 40 kilometers and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your cycling speed. Upon reaching Amsterdam, continue following the signs towards the Watergraafsmeer area, and you’ll find Linnaeusstraat 2 after navigating through the streets.
Bus
Catch a bus from Utrecht Central Station to Amsterdam. You can take the FlixBus or another service that operates between Utrecht and Amsterdam. The bus ride takes about 45 minutes. Get off at the nearest bus stop to the museum, which is 'Amstelstation'. From Amstelstation, you can walk to Linnaeusstraat, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Head east on Amstelriver, cross the bridge, and then turn left onto Linnaeusstraat. The museum will be on your right.
