Amazing Castle & grounds!
Amazing Castle! We almost didn't get here, there was unexpected roadwork that blocked the main road to the castle. Luckly, we followed a tourbus that knew his way around some back country roads and arrived an hour before closing. We were all in awe of the amazing structure, grounds and gardens. I could certainly imagine knights riding around the grounds on their adorned horses, ladies in waiting peeking at them from the castle windows...

This was the perfect way to travel from Bruges to Amsterdam. Everything was so seamless and handled for us. We loved seeing Utrecht - you should have a small plan for what you want to see in Utrecht. I am so happy I saw Utrecht. We saw the palace and walked around the streets. I wish we would’ve kayaked in the canal.
