If you are driving from the center of Utrechtse Heuvelrug, enter the A12 motorway towards Arnhem. After approximately 10 km, take exit 22 for Amerongen. Continue straight on the N225 towards Amerongen. Once in Amerongen, look for signs directing you to the 'De Eenzame Eik' which is located near the Amerongse Berg. Please note that parking may be limited, so be prepared to find a nearby parking spot.

Take a train from Utrecht Central Station to Veenendaal-De Klomp station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. From Veenendaal-De Klomp, take bus line 50 towards Amerongen (check the schedule for the latest timings). Get off at the 'Amerongen, Kerk' stop. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to De Eenzame Eik. Follow the signs for the Amerongse Berg, and you will find the famous tree on your way. Make sure to check the bus schedule as they may not run frequently.
