If you are driving from the center of Volendam, head southeast on Havenstraat toward Zeestraat. Continue straight onto Molenweg, then turn left onto Edam-Volendam Road (N244). Follow N244 for about 6 km, then merge onto the A7 motorway towards Amsterdam. After about 20 km, take exit 1 toward Amsterdam-Zuid. Merge onto De Boelelaan, then turn right onto Zuidplein. Continue straight to reach Koningsplein, which is located in the Amsterdam-Centrum area.

From Volendam, take bus line 110 towards Amsterdam. Board the bus at the Volendam bus station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach the Amsterdam bus station, get off at the stop named 'Amsterdam, Muntplein'. From there, walk 10 minutes towards Koningsplein. Head southwest on Muntplein, then turn left onto Rokin street. Continue straight until you reach Koningsplein.

While there are no direct train services from Volendam, you can take a bus to the nearest train station, which is in Zaandam. Take bus line 110 from Volendam to Zaandam train station (approximately 20 minutes). From Zaandam, board a train towards Amsterdam Central Station (around 15 minutes). Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central, take tram line 2 or 12 towards Amsterdam, and get off at the 'Koningsplein' stop, which is right by your destination.
