Start from the center of Volendam, head south on Havenstraat towards Edam. Follow signs for N518 and merge onto N518. Continue on N518 for about 10 km. Take the exit onto A10 towards Amsterdam. Merge onto A10 and follow the signs for S113. Take exit S113 and continue onto Amsteldijk. Follow Amsteldijk until you reach the Magere Brug, located on the Amstel River in Amsterdam-Centrum. Look for parking nearby.

From Volendam, walk to the bus stop at the center of town. Take bus line 110 towards Amsterdam, which operates frequently. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Amsterdam, Centraal Station stop. From there, you can either walk or take tram line 14 towards Zevenlandenhuizen. Get off at the stop called 'Magere Brug.' The bridge is a short walk from the stop, easily visible along the Amstel River.
