Car
From central Volendam, head south on Havenweg towards W.J. Woudweg. Continue straight onto W.J. Woudweg for about 2 kilometers until you reach the A7 motorway. Merge onto A7 toward Amsterdam. After approximately 20 kilometers, take exit 1 toward Amsterdam-Centrum. Follow signs for S112 and merge onto Amsteldijk. Continue straight until you reach the center of Amsterdam. Follow local signs to Scharrebiersluis located at 1018 AB Amsterdam.

From Volendam, walk to the Volendam bus station. Take bus line 110 towards Amsterdam. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Amsterdam Centraal Station stop. From there, you can either walk or take a tram. If walking, head southeast on Damrak towards Beursplein, then turn right onto Rokin. Continue straight until you reach the Scharrebiersluis at 1018 AB Amsterdam. If taking a tram, board tram 4 or 14 towards the direction of the Spui and get off at the stop 'Rokin'.
