Car
If you are driving from anywhere in West-Friesland, you will want to head towards the A7 highway. From towns like Hoorn or Enkhuizen, take the N307 towards Lelystad and then merge onto the A6 towards Leeuwarden. Continue on the A6 until you reach the junction for the A31 towards Harlingen. Follow the A31, and take the exit for Harlingen. Continue on the N99 to Havenweg. The Harlingen Lighthouse is located at Havenweg 1, 8861 XH Harlingen. There is typically free parking available nearby, but be mindful of any parking regulations.

To reach Harlingen Lighthouse using public transport, start by taking a train from any major station in West-Friesland, such as Hoorn or Enkhuizen, to Leeuwarden. From Leeuwarden, transfer to a train headed to Harlingen. Once you arrive at Harlingen station, exit and walk to the bus stop (Buslijn 1). Take bus line 1 towards Harlingen Haven and get off at the 'Havenweg' stop. The lighthouse is a short walk from there, located at Havenweg 1, 8861 XH Harlingen. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for any potential costs and timings.
