Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Hoorn, take the A7 motorway towards Amsterdam. After about 30 km, take exit 3 towards S116. Continue on S116 and follow signs for Amsterdam-Centrum. Once you're in the city, look for parking near the Zeedijk area. Public parking garages like 'Q-Park Nieuwendijk' or 'Parkeergarage Centrum' are good options. From the parking garage, it’s a short walk to Zeedijk 5, where Het Elfde Gebod is located.

• Public Transport

  To reach Het Elfde Gebod using public transportation from Alkmaar, take the train from Alkmaar station to Amsterdam Centraal. The train ride takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head towards the streets of the city center. You can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take tram line 4 or 14 from the station to the Nieuwmarkt stop. From Nieuwmarkt, it’s just a 5-minute walk to Zeedijk 5.

• Car

  If you're coming from Enkhuizen, take the N302 toward Almere and then merge onto the A6 motorway. After that, follow the signs for the A1 towards Amsterdam. Once you reach the city, continue to follow signs for Amsterdam-Centrum. Park in one of the public parking garages nearby, such as 'Q-Park Amsterdam' or 'Parkeergarage Markenhaven'. From the parking garage, it's a short walk to Zeedijk 5.

• Public Transport

  For those coming from Medemblik, take the bus to Hoorn station, then transfer to a train heading to Amsterdam Centraal. The train journey takes about 1 hour. Once at Amsterdam Centraal, either walk (15 minutes) or take tram line 4 or 14 toward Nieuwmarkt. Get off at the Nieuwmarkt stop and walk about 5 minutes to reach Het Elfde Gebod at Zeedijk 5.
