Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Zaanse Schans, you will need to access the A8 motorway. Start by heading south on the Zaanse Schans road (Zaanse Schansweg) and follow signs to the A8. Once on the A8, head towards Amsterdam. After approximately 20 minutes, take the exit toward S116/Amsterdam-Centrum. Continue on the S116, which will lead you into the city. Follow the signs to Amstel and park in the nearby parking garages such as 'Q-Park Amstel' or 'Parkeergarage Waterlooplein'. The H'ART museum dock is a short walk from there.

• Public Transportation - Train

  To reach H'ART museum dock by train, start at the Zaanse Schans train station (Koog-Zaandijk). Take the train to Amsterdam Central Station. Once you arrive at Central Station, switch to Metro line 52 (Noord/Zuidlijn) towards Zuid. Get off at the 'Waterlooplein' station. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to H'ART museum dock. Follow the Amstel river towards the east, and you will reach the dock at Amstel 51.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  If you prefer to take the bus, start your journey at the Zaanse Schans bus stop. You can catch bus line 391 towards Amsterdam. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Amstel' stop. From there, it is a short walk to H'ART museum dock at Amstel 51. Just follow the road signs towards the Amstel river, and you will see the dock.

• Walking

  If you are already in Amsterdam city center, you can walk to H'ART museum dock. Start at Dam Square and head southeast towards the Amstel river. Walk along the riverbank, enjoying the scenic views, until you reach Amstel 51. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.
