Public Bus
To reach the Explore Tahoe Visitor Center from Carson City, take the 'Tahoe Area Regional Transit' (TART) bus. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop in Carson City, usually located downtown. Check the TART schedule for the next departure to South Lake Tahoe. The bus will take you directly to South Lake Tahoe, where you will need to get off at the stop closest to 4114 Lake Tahoe Blvd. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes south along Lake Tahoe Blvd until you reach the Visitor Center.

Bicycle
If you prefer to ride a bike, you can rent one in Carson City at a local bike rental shop. After renting a bike, head towards U.S. Highway 50 and follow the bike path that leads to South Lake Tahoe. The ride is approximately 15 miles and will take you along scenic views. Once you reach South Lake Tahoe, continue on Lake Tahoe Blvd for about 1 mile, and the Explore Tahoe Visitor Center will be on your right at 4114 Lake Tahoe Blvd.

Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and would like to walk to the Explore Tahoe Visitor Center, you can start from the center of Carson City. Head east on E Robinson St towards S Carson St. Continue straight to merge onto US-50 E. Follow US-50 E for about 15 miles until you reach South Lake Tahoe. Upon entering South Lake Tahoe, turn right onto Lake Tahoe Blvd, and walk approximately 0.5 miles. The Visitor Center will be located on your left at 4114 Lake Tahoe Blvd.
