    If you are driving, start from the center of Tahoe City. Head west on N Lake Blvd (CA-28) from the intersection at the main traffic light. Continue on N Lake Blvd for about 0.5 miles. The Gatekeeper's Museum will be located on your left at 130 W Lake Blvd. Look for the museum entrance on the side of the building, which has a large sign.

    If you are using public transportation, check the Tahoe Area Regional Transit (TART) bus schedule. Take the blue route that stops at Tahoe City. Get off at the Tahoe City Transit Center, which is located near the intersection of N Lake Blvd and CA-89. From the transit center, walk west along N Lake Blvd for approximately 0.3 miles. The Gatekeeper's Museum will be on your left, just past the Tahoe City Park.
