Getting There

• Public Bus

  From Carson City, catch the Douglas County Public Transit bus (Route 21) towards Stateline. The bus stop is located at the Carson City Senior Center at 911 Beverly Drive. The bus runs approximately every hour. You will need to get off at the Stateline stop, which is near the Heavenly Mountain Resort. From the bus stop, head east on Highway 50, and follow the signs to Heavenly Mountain Resort, which is about a 10-minute walk.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike shops in Carson City. Start at the Nevada State Capitol at 101 N Carson St and head south on Carson St. Turn left onto US-50 E and continue for about 12 miles until you reach Heavenly Mountain Resort. The ride is scenic but be prepared for some uphill sections.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, you can start at the Carson City Visitor Center located at 716 N Carson St. Walk south to E Musser St and turn left. Continue on E Musser St until you reach S Carson St, then turn right. Follow S Carson St until it merges into US-50 E. Continue walking along the highway for about 12 miles, taking in the sights, until you arrive at Heavenly Mountain Resort. Note that this is a long walk, so prepare accordingly.

• Ride-Sharing Service

  You can use a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft. Simply open the app and set your destination to Heavenly Mountain Resort. The pickup location can be at any major hotel or restaurant in Carson City, such as the Gold Dust West Casino, which is centrally located. The ride typically takes around 30 minutes depending on traffic.
