    If you are in downtown Carson City, start at the intersection of Carson Street and 2nd Street. Head west on 2nd Street until you reach N. Curry Street. Turn left onto N. Curry Street and continue south until you reach W. Robinson Street. Turn right onto W. Robinson Street and continue until you reach S. Carson Street. Turn left onto S. Carson Street and walk for about half a mile. After that, turn right onto E. Long Street, which will take you toward the University of Nevada, Reno's Western Nevada College campus. Continue straight onto Vanpatten Avenue. The Jack C. Davis Observatory will be on your right at 2269 Vanpatten Ave.
