If you're starting from downtown Carson City, walk to the Carson City Public Transit bus stop located at 4th St & Carson St. Take the Route 19 bus towards Reno. Stay on the bus for about 40 minutes. Get off at the 'N Virginia St & 16th St' stop. From there, walk north on N Virginia St for about 5 minutes. The Nevada Historical Society will be on your left at 1650 N Virginia St.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from downtown Carson City. Start by heading north on Carson St, then turn right onto 5th St. Continue on 5th St until you reach N Virginia St. Turn left and ride north for approximately 12 miles. The Nevada Historical Society will be on your left at 1650 N Virginia St. Ensure you're comfortable riding on the road and observe traffic rules.
