Public Bus
From downtown Carson City, head to the Carson City Transit Center located at 4200 South Carson Street. Take the Blue Line bus towards Stateline. Ride the bus until you reach the South Lake Tahoe stop. Once you arrive at South Lake Tahoe, walk towards CA-89. Pope Beach will be a short walk away; follow the signs for approximately 0.5 miles west on CA-89.
Bicycle
Start at the Carson City Library on 900 N Roop St. Head south on Roop Street until you reach E William St. Turn left onto E William St, then right onto S Carson St. Continue on S Carson St until you reach the intersection with US-50. Follow the bike path towards Stateline and then connect to CA-89. Bicycle along CA-89 for about 12 miles until you reach Pope Beach.
Walking
If you're near the Nevada State Capitol, start your walk heading south on Carson Street. Continue straight until you hit US-50. Cross over to the other side and continue walking towards Stateline. After about 1.5 miles, you will reach the junction of CA-89. Walk along CA-89 for about another 2 miles, and you will find Pope Beach on your left.
