Car
If you're driving, start from Las Vegas. Take I-15 North and merge onto NV-215 W. Continue on NV-215 W for about 10 miles. Take the exit for NV-159 W/Blue Diamond Rd. Follow NV-159 W for approximately 15 miles until you reach Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Note: There is an entrance fee of $15 per vehicle. Once inside the park, follow the signs to the Calico Tanks Trailhead parking area.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, start at the Las Vegas Strip and take the RTC bus (Route 201) towards the Las Vegas Premium Outlets. This will take you to the nearest stop at Blue Diamond Road. From there, you will need to arrange a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) or taxi to take you to the Red Rock Canyon entrance. After entering the park (with a $15 entrance fee per vehicle), you can park at the Calico Tanks Trailhead.
Biking
For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from various rental shops in Las Vegas. Start your journey on the bike path heading towards Red Rock Canyon. It's approximately a 20-mile ride from the Strip to the entrance of the park. Be prepared for a challenging ride with some elevation changes. Once you arrive at Red Rock Canyon, you'll need to pay the $15 entrance fee to park your bike at the Calico Tanks Trailhead.
