    If you are driving, start at the Hoover Dam Visitor Center. Exit the parking lot and turn left onto NV-172 S (Hoover Dam Access Road). Follow NV-172 S for about 1.5 miles. You will pass the historic Hoover Dam and the parking area. Continue on the road until you reach the turn-off for Kingman Wash Access Road. Turn right onto Kingman Wash Access Road and continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Hoover Dam Lookout parking area.

    Public transportation options are limited. However, if available, take the local bus service towards the Hoover Dam. Disembark at the Hoover Dam Visitor Center. From there, you can walk to the Hoover Dam Lookout by following the directions for driving: head south on NV-172 S (Hoover Dam Access Road) and continue as described above. Be prepared for a walk of about 2 miles to reach the lookout point.
