Car
If you're driving within Lake Mead National Recreation Area, head southeast on Lakeshore Road. Continue until you reach the junction with NV-93. Merge onto NV-93 and follow the signs for Boulder City. After approximately 15 miles, take the exit toward Boulder City. Upon entering Boulder City, continue on Nevada Way until you reach the intersection with Nevada State Route 172. Turn left onto NV-172 and follow it until you reach the Hoover Dam Boneyard located at the coordinates 36.019705, -114.747318. There is no entrance fee to visit the area, but parking may be limited.

Public Transportation
While there are limited public transportation options in the Lake Mead area, you can take a bus from Las Vegas to Boulder City. Look for the RTC bus service that operates between Las Vegas and Boulder City. Once you arrive in Boulder City, you may need to use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to reach the Hoover Dam Boneyard, as public transport may not directly serve that area. Be prepared for a short ride of about 10 minutes from the bus stop to the Boneyard.

If you are already in Boulder City and prefer to walk, the Hoover Dam Boneyard is approximately 1 mile from the downtown area. Start at the Boulder City Museum and Historical Society and head south on Nevada Way. Continue straight until you reach the junction with NV-172. Turn left and follow NV-172 towards the Boneyard. The route is mostly flat and provides scenic views of the area. This walk will take around 20-30 minutes.
