Walking
From your location in Laughlin, head northwest on the main street towards Needles Highway (also known as Route 95). Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Needles Highway. Cross the street at the designated crosswalk and follow Needles Highway north. You will pass by several hotels and attractions along the way. After approximately 1 mile, you will see the entrance to Big Bend of the Colorado State Recreation Area on your left at 4220 Needles Hwy. Make sure to keep an eye out for signs indicating the park entrance.

Bicycle
If you are traveling by bicycle, start from the center of Laughlin and head towards Needles Highway. Use the bike lanes where available as you navigate through the streets. Once you reach Needles Highway, turn left and continue to follow the road north. The ride is about 1 mile and will take you directly to the entrance of Big Bend of the Colorado State Recreation Area at 4220 Needles Hwy. Be sure to stay on the right side of the road and follow all traffic rules for a safe journey.
