If you're driving in Lyon County, Buckland's Station is located at 10050 US-95 ALT, Silver Springs, NV 89429. From Yerington, head east on NV-208 E for about 16 miles until you reach the junction with US-95 ALT. Turn left onto US-95 ALT and continue for approximately 12 miles. Buckland's Station will be on your right. There is no entry fee to visit the station itself.
Car
If you're coming from Fernley, take I-80 W and exit onto US-95 S. Continue on US-95 S for about 20 miles. Take the exit for US-95 ALT toward Silver Springs. After about 3 miles, Buckland's Station will be on your left. Again, there is no entry fee.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, options may be limited. You can take a Greyhound bus to Fernley, then use a local taxi service to reach Buckland's Station. The taxi fare from Fernley to Buckland's Station could be around $50-$70, depending on the provider. Always check for the latest bus schedules and availability.
