Getting There

• Car

  From Walker Lake, start by heading north on NV-361 (Walker Lake Road). Continue on NV-361 for approximately 12 miles until you reach the junction with US-395. Turn left (north) onto US-395. The river is located near the intersection of US-395 and the local roads leading to the river's access points.

• Public Transportation

  There is limited public transportation available in the Walker Lake area. The closest option would be to take a Greyhound bus to Minden, NV, which is the nearest larger town.
