The bus will take you along the main routes, and you should stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on the stops. Request the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to the museum, which should be near the intersection of Moapa Valley Blvd and the museum entrance. From the bus stop, walk south along Moapa Valley Blvd for about 5-10 minutes until you reach the museum at 721 S Moapa Valley Blvd. Look for the distinctive signage indicating the museum's entrance.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Mesquite. Start at the rental shop and head out towards the main road, following the bike lanes. Ride along the main boulevard heading south until you reach Moapa Valley Blvd. Continue riding south for about 8 miles until you see the Lost City Museum on your left at 721 S Moapa Valley Blvd. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules while cycling.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and ready for a longer walk, you can walk to the Lost City Museum’s Pithouse from the center of Mesquite. Start at the Virgin Valley Heritage Museum located at 35 W Mesquite Blvd. Walk east on Mesquite Blvd until you reach the intersection with Moapa Valley Blvd. Turn left onto Moapa Valley Blvd and continue walking south for approximately 8 miles. This will be a long trek, so ensure you're wearing comfortable shoes and stay hydrated. The museum will be located on your left at 721 S Moapa Valley Blvd.
