To reach Berlin Ichthyosaur State Park by car, start by navigating to the town of Austin, NV. If you're coming from the north, take US-93 South towards Ely, then merge onto NV-318 South. Continue on NV-318 until you reach US-50, then head east towards Austin. If you're starting from the south, take US-95 North until you reach US-50. Once in Austin, look for NV-844, which leads directly to the park. The park entrance is well-marked, and parking is available on-site. There is no entry fee for the park.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited in this remote area. The closest bus service is Greyhound, which operates routes to Ely, NV. From Ely, you may need to rent a car or arrange for a taxi service to reach Austin, NV, and then take NV-844 to the park. Be sure to check the Greyhound schedule in advance as services may not be frequent. Alternatively, consider using rideshare apps if available in the area.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, biking to Berlin Ichthyosaur State Park is possible, especially if you are in good physical condition. From Austin, NV, take NV-844 heading west.
