If you're traveling by car, head to Eureka, NV. From major cities in Northern Nevada, such as Elko or Reno, take US-50, also known as the 'Loneliest Road in America', towards Eureka. Follow US-50 East until you reach the junction with NV-278. Continue on US-50 until you reach Eureka. Upon entering the town, turn right onto N Monroe St. The Eureka Sentinel Museum is located at 10 N Monroe St. Parking is typically available on the street.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited in this remote area. However, the Greyhound bus service operates routes through Nevada. You would need to take a Greyhound bus to Ely, NV, which is the closest major bus station. From Ely, you can rent a car or arrange for a local taxi service to reach Eureka, which is about 90 miles away. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may not be frequent.
